Note: For a list of Canadian cruises on the west coast, including ports in Alaska, click here to visit our Alaska cruise page.

Canada cruises depart from or visit a variety of ports on both the east and west coasts of Canada. West coast Canada cruises typically spend more time in Alaska, but may depart from or terminate in the scenic and cosmopolitan city of Vancouver. Some visit picturesque and historic Victoria. East coast cruises to Canada usually begin in Montreal, New York or Boston, and call on popular Canadian ports including Halifax and Quebec City.

On Canadian cruises, passengers see rugged coastlines guarded by lighthouses, quaint villages and fishing boats bobbing in picturesque harbors. Popular shore excursions on an east coast Canada cruise include touring Montreal's old town in a horse-drawn carriage or visiting the Maritime Museum in Halifax.

  • Most cruises to Canada also visit New England.

  • The Canada/New England cruise season lasts from mid-May through October, and fall is the most popular time to visit.

  • Canada/New England cruises are four to 14 days.
